Tiny Dancer

My name is Tiny (but to avoid confusion I am listed as Tiny Dancer).  My previous owner had to go in for medical treatment and was unable to keep me, so Valley Dogs took me in.

I am a young girl – probably right about a year old.  I am very shy and can be a bit skittish around new things and people, but once I warm up I will forget all about that.  Then I will want to sit with you, have lots of attention and I love to sleep curled up in the crock of your arm at night.

I play really well with other dogs once I get to know them, and boy how I LOVE to play.  I get after all the dogs at my foster home and “pester” them until someone will play with me.  If they wear out, I go try to find another one to play with me.  I am learning “toys” and how to play with them too.

I walk well on a leash and am getting much better at my potty training if I am kept on a consistent schedule.  I have also learned that potty pads can be acceptable if no one is home to let me out.  I have not shown a tendency to be much of a barker, unless I am left alone.

When I first came to my current foster home, when the humans would leave I would cry and cry.  Now that I have gotten used to the routine and I know the other dogs are there to keep me company I handle it much better.  But, I will need a home where there is at least one other sociable dog who loves to play.  I would not do well as on “only” dog due to my anxiety issues with being left alone.

If I sound like a pup you would like to consider adding to your family, please contact me foster below to find out about how to schedule a meet and greet.
